​For over 40 years, my sister, Gayla, has bravely managed her mental health.

While the medication has been vital to her well-being and has helped her so much, it has also had an unfortunate and devastating side effect: the loss of her teeth.

This has affected every part of Gayla's life, from her health to her self-esteem. It has deeply impacted her ability to eat and speak clearly and has taken a huge toll on her confidence. She often feels self-conscious about her appearance and it has broken my heart to see how this has impacted her.
