Gabrielle Hastings, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in August 2025. Such news was devastating to receive, and left Gabrielle, her husband Kevin, and the family in shock. At a young 31 years old, it was hard to fathom that the mass she found, was indeed breast cancer. Gabrielle was diagnosed with ductile carcinoma.

Everything started happening very quickly, biopsies, MRIs were performed, visits to the cancer surgeon and visits to the plastic surgeon office passed and it was decided that Gabrielle needed a lumpectomy. After scouts were placed, the week prior to surgery, it was realized that the area of the cancer was so large that a mastectomy would be the absolute best option to preserve Gabi's life. The news was hard for Gabrielle and Kevin to bear, this was a journey where their faith in God would carry them.

With an excellent faith filled cancer surgeon and a fantastic faith filled plastics surgeon, Gabrielle would go on to get a mastectomy on Monday, October 6th, 2025. As Gabrielle and her surgery team headed into the operation prayed up, God's glory abounded in the operation room in a glorious way. The surgery went very well and ended with the plastic surgeon giving God all of the glory for a great outcome!

As Gabrielle recovers from her operation, and finds out the next steps in her breast cancer journey, we ask that you help us encourage and support Gabrielle and Kevin. Not only is a cancer diagnosis hard to endure but it affects every part of your life. Medical bills start to pile at the very first medical visit and none of the journey is ever "affordable."
