Hi, my name is Karin, I live in Sweden and I would really like to help this little catboy (I call him Pinksnootboy) get the surgery he needs.

For the past six years Pinksnootboy have been coming by our house now and then. We successfully caught him once to check if he was chipped (he wasn’t), and hasn’t been able to catch him since.

Last year I found out from our neighbors who ”owns” him, apparently it’s some other neighbors a few houses away.

Two weeks ago I discovered he can’t use his left hindleg. Bf found one of the owners on fb. And messaged them, asking if it’s their cat and telling them he’s injured and can’t use his leg. They simply replied that yes it’s their cat and that they are taking care of him. Bf replied that he really needs to be taken to the vet. They never answered.

A few days ago he showed up again, still injured. I had enough and set up a trap. Caught him the next morning, took him to the vet and had him neutered, chipped, vaccinated and looked over. I can’t pay for it myself currently as I have no income right now (I’m home with my kid), but luckily a cat shelter (Djurens vänner Göteborg) are helping me pay for his care.

Unfortunately the vet discovered his leg injury have been left untreated for so long that he’ll need surgery. It’s expensive and the cat shelter is currently trying to pull some strings to get a cheaper vet.

Now he’s just hanging out in our basement (we already have three cats upstairs) receiving pain medication until we figure out the next steps.

Pinksnootboy are incredibly affectionate. He constantly bonks his head on me to receive more pets and scratches. He is quite muscular and have made me loose my footing several times after a severe bonk. He is a wonderful cat, yet he has been left injured and in pain for a long time.

Please help me fund the surgery he desperately needs!
