Help a local Champion student study abroad!

Hi, my name is Riley Reese, I am currently a Sophomore at Champion H.S. who participates in Football, Jazz Band and Concert. I have been given the incredible opportunity to spend the 2025/26 school year as a foreign exchange student in Italy. I’ve dreamed of this for so long—not just to see the world, but to grow through cultural immersion, explore new ideas and passions, and represent my community in a meaningful way.

Unfortunately, this dream has become harder to reach due to recent events.

On February 11th, my dad—our family’s main source of income—was involved in a head-on car accident. Thankfully, he’s alive and at home now recovering. The accident has had a major impact on our lives and finances. Since then, things have been tight, and saving for my exchange has become a serious challenge. We’ve been set back many steps, and even with a job, affording this program will still be difficult.

But I’m not giving up.

This summer, I’ll be doing everything I can to make it happen. I plan to start a small business selling high-quality custom stickers using a Cricut machine that my mom owns. I’m also going to get a job over the summer, and every dollar I earn will go toward funding this exchange.

Still, I can’t do this alone. I’m reaching out for help—from friends, family, and anyone willing to support a local high school student with big goals and a love for learning. By donating, you’re not just helping me travel—you’re helping me become a more educated, independent, and inspired version of myself. You’re helping someone from our community take on the world.
