In October 2006, soprano Katy Lees was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a rare and deadly form of cancer, and told she had months to live.
238 months (20 years) later, Katy is one of the UK's longest-living survivors of mesothelioma.
This August, Katy takes her autobiographical one-woman show, Breathe: Five Arias That Saved My Life, to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Part TED Talk, part live opera, the show interweaves Katy’s story of survival with the five opera arias by Puccini, Mozart, Verdi, Bellini, and Bernstein that became her lifeline.

But she needs your help to get there. Please donate anything you can to help Katy bring her inspirational story and beautiful singing to Edinburgh.

Katy is holding a concert to help fundraise on Sunday 26th July, 6pm at St Mark's Place, SW19 7ND.
Tickets are by personal donation, with no set price.
