Sadly on November 18th 2025 my service dog of almost 12 years passed away from an aggressive cancer that took her sooner than I was hoping for. She was my best friend, My Family and someone who cared for me and I cared for her more than anyone. She passed on in my arms peacefully as we stared into each others eyes and I told her she was loved and thanked her for her years of being the best dog I had ever had or even known, it was heart breaking and soul crushing, it still is, I will never forget her as long as I live. Sorry I'm actually crying right now as I am writing this. It's hard to loose an animal and an animal you spend 99.99% of your time with is something that can't really even be explained. She was my world and made it much easier for me to be in public and live a semi-normal life. I don't have very many friends or family so I try my best to keep the friends I have and Kata my service dog was always great with greeting people and breaking the ice. Even my caretaker used to bring her out treats to visit her. She made many friends in my apartment building and the surrounding area. This was because a wonderful woman named Jennita trained and gave so much love to Kata that she was able to give it back in spades to myself and others. Thank-you Jennita for everything ( Hugs ). Due to a car accident I am on a very fixed budget month to month and after having to pay for the vet fees and cremation for Kata and catch up on bills. I am not yet fully financially secure for another Service Dog at the moment, But still need one desperately, and thought what if I asked others for help, I usually don't because I don't want to seem a bother to anyone.
