On August 31, 2024, my dear friends, Fritz and Lina lost their home to a fire. That evening, it was just Fritz and their youngest daughter who were home when they realized the house was ablaze, and thankfully escaped with just the clothing on their backs.

The 3-story house, which was also Fritz and Lina's place of business, is a total loss. All of their belongings are gone, and they will have to replace everything. They plan to rebuild with the help of insurance, yet it's hard to say how long it will take to rebuild their home.

Any donation collected through GoFundMe would be a great help to the family as they seek to replace essentials including clothing, pay day-to-day bills, and secure temporary housing. They are grateful that their three dogs, one cat, and bunnies survived, but they are mourning the loss of their cat, Cookie.

Fritz has long served Bridgeport and its surrounding communities through his counseling practice, and Lina has been interning to become a counselor. We hope to generously bless this family who love and care for so many by raising funds to help them through this difficult time.
