Please help with Friday's emergency medical costs

Hello All,

My name is Cullan, and my dear cat Friday is needing life saving Veterinary care. It will be (and already has been) quite expensive.

Since I was medically retired from the Air Force just over a year ago, after 22 years of faithful service,  I have been unemployed and barely making it by financially. Unemployment checks only last a few months, and the job market is not great due to Covid, etc (no matter what the politicians say).  I really do not have room in my budget for this, on top of my own medical bills. I still have not started getting my disability pay from the VA either, which is making it that much harder for me.

I have had to use a credit card to pay up front for the low estimate of his emergency hospital care. This has caused me much stress because of knowing he was in so much pain, but also for my finances.

Some friends suggested that I start one of these to see if it could help pay for his treatment.

I have never been one to ask for handouts, and I never want to be, but at this point any bit of generosity would make me forever grateful. Even if you aren't able to help, maybe you could find it in your heart to at least please share. It all helps.
