Please help Frennie restore her vision

Hello Beautiful Humans,
My name is Frennie. I'm told I'm a lovely girl, and I've always had so much love to give. Unfortunately, my first family didn't feel the same way about me. I was very young when I last saw them—barely a year old. My memories are fragmented: a trip to the vet, supposedly for an eye checkup... and then, abandonment. I suppose my inability to see was too much for them.
The kind humans at the veterinary clinic contacted a shelter, and the owner, a truly compassionate soul, came to get me. They gave me a chance without even knowing me! I must be pretty special, right? After some time at the shelter, I was incredibly fortunate to find an amazing foster home here in Canada. In April 2025, the wonderful people around me arranged my journey to this new land.
My Canadian foster—I truly consider him my dad—has shown me more love and care than I ever thought possible. He's utterly devoted to me. He's already taken me to several vet appointments, and recently, to an ophthalmologist. The news was hopeful, yet daunting: surgery could potentially restore my vision, but it comes at a cost of $6,500.
So, I reach out to you, beautiful humans, with a humble request. Would you be kind enough to help me see the world in its full glory? Any contribution, no matter how small, would bring me closer to regaining my sight and experiencing the vibrant tapestry of life that I've only ever sensed.
