In June of 2021, Shawanda G. was sentenced to 25 years in prison. This is in response to Shawanda’s first and ONLY drug charge. She and her family are seeking assistance in obtaining a lawyer to not only review her case but accept her as a client.
Shawanda is a mother of four school-aged children, and though we all feel that her presence in the civilian world is greatly missed, no one is affected by this harsh sentencing more than her children. Pulaski State Prison is populated with close to 2,000 inmates. There is an appalling amount of similar harsh sentencing cases, especially amongst the black community. This year, if at all possible, a lawyer working in her favor will help drastically in reuniting Shawanda with her family so that she may reconnect with her children and the rest of society BEFORE over 2 decades have passed.
There is a great deal of “remorse and accountability” on Shawanda’s behalf. Several factors have also changed in the case. Now it is time for individuals in positions of law to reconsider. Please share this link to get the case into the hands of Pulaski County and Fulton County law officials. The main goal of this account is to gain legal counsel for personal representation of Shawanda’s unfair judgment. Any donations are substantially appreciated.
