Please help Freddie get better

Hi, this is Freddie. He’s a 2 1/2yrs old Cavalier King Charles and the love of my life. I bought him when he was only 11 weeks old. So I haven’t had very long with him.

Freddie is a very happy dog. Loves loves loves food. He’s a very anxious boy. Likes humans more than his own kind. When he sees animals of any kind on the telly, he runs into the spare room which is behind the tv and barks. Like the animals are in the room. Such a weird kid.

Recently he’s been very sick. He started to vomit blood which I had taken him to the animal hospital. 1hr and $1055 later he went home with some meds. During the week. He hadn’t been eating or drinking and pooing black bloody drops of diarrhoea. We took him to the vet a couple of days later and he stayed overnight where they gave him IV fluids etc. Another $1500 later. He looked good when I took him home, but didn’t eat. I thought maybe because he had fluids, he wasn’t hungry. I thought he was getting better, but he went down hill again.

We took him to another vet and they also kept him there for the day for more IV fluids and tests and again for another about of IV fluids. Now it’s over $4000 spent.

I don’t have pet insurance. The weird thing was. I was actually looking before this happened. Freddie’s previous insurance ended in March and I was researching who was the better insurer to go with. Then this happens.

If any of you have a pet. Please get your pet insured, it will save you thousands. This will cost me close to $10000 with ultrasound, more tests and surgery and I just don’t have that kind of money.

so I am here to ask if there’s anyone out there who could help with my vet bills.

Freddie is in pain and he’s not his happy lil self. His vomit today was big and black. Like something from a horror movie. It was scary seeing this big black pool of vomit x 2. I was so scared.

He is seeing the vet again for further tests and surgery for an obstruction. 

If you can help little Freddie, we would be so grateful for your support and generosity in helping pay the vet bills and hoping the vet can find the cause and fix him, so I can have my happy little Freddie back.
