Please help Frank fight brain cancer.

Frank Chrivia and his wife Heather and children Cody, Kelby, Blake and Raygan need your help. After undergoing months of testing, Frank’s brain biopsy in February 2023 confirmed a diagnosis of stage 4 Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma, is an aggressive form of malignant brain cancer. Frank’s brain cancer is advanced. The disease has been debilitating, rendering Frank unable to speak. He also has difficulty swallowing and walking unassisted. Frank is currently undergoing double radiation and chemo treatments at Henry Ford Brain Tumor Center in Detroit.

As you can imagine the sudden and extreme onset of this disease has caused Frank’s family lives to be turned upside down. The road the family has ahead will be challenging. Heather has been by his side working very minimal hours at work. This has not only been an emotional and physical hardship but an extreme financial burden as well. Frank and Heather are humble people that never expected to be in a position of asking for financial support.

In fact they have been very reluctant to do so. But the longer Frank’s fight, the more of a burden this will present. The Brain Tumor Foundation estimates the cost to treat Stage 4 Glioblastoma anywhere from $400,000-$750,000. Insurance will cover some of their medical necessities but we know that their costs will continue to pile up as treatments continue and as their needs evolve. We are starting this gofundme to ease the financial burden and to give Frank and Heather and their children the time to spend together focusing on the love they have for one another.

Frank and Heather and their two youngest children, son Blake (13) and daughter Raygan (7) have resided in Hale all their life. They have always had a strong sense of community involvement including coaching and hunting, fishing and sporting events. Frank also served as the Cub Scout Master for all three of his sons. Frank is now in need of our help as he fights for his life.
