PLease Help Frances Adams

PLEASE HELP FRANCES REMAIN IN HER HOME WHILE SHE COMPLETES HER BOOK

Frances Adams suffered a cerebellum stroke in September of 2019. Currently, Frances is advancing her recovery by having just let go of the wheelchair, graduating to using a walker full-time and reclaiming the use of her left hand. Her dedication to therapy since her stroke has helped her regain some mobility, balance, and cognitive function. While she has a way to go, Frances continues a steady recovery and is powerfully motivated to remain in Sedona with your help.

After a period of recovery time, Frances is determined to complete her current book. Her goal is to remain in the comfort of her home while in recovery to complete editing her second book. Because insurance does not cover any of the 24/7 caregivers required at this time she will need to fundraise the money to cover her additional expenses.

As Frances continues is participating in her rehabilitation and recovery from her stroke, her friend Melanie has been helping with her 24/7 care since October for $600 a month. Melanie will be leaving mid-January to take a much-needed break from caregiving for two weeks, and will no longer be able to provide 24/7 caregiving upon return. Frances will need to start having more paid helpers and caregivers, which is expensive at $15-$25/hour and up.

Frances is reaching out and resource the community of family and friends to help continue her care and rehabilitation in order to not dislodge her from her home. Your donations will help ensure that she is able to have in-home caregiving support and more.

Thank You For taking the opportunity to help and reach our goals by sharing her fundraising fund with people who would like to support her mission!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO FRANCES WITHOUT YOUR HELP?

Frances will be forced to move from her Sedona home into a care facility if she is unable to fundraise the required amount to cover her care. Cottonwood, near to Sedona, is the closest care facility covered by her insurance. She realizes that a care facility is the best place for her to move towards, but would like to be afforded some peaceful healing space in her own home before moving from the place that makes her the happiest, while she reclaims a more independent living experience.

THE SYSTEM OF FUNDING SHE IS ASKING FOR

Frances cannot directly receive funds without placing her insurance status in jeopardy. Therefore, any funds received will be distributed by her family member and financial executive directly to pay for:

    Caregivers pay ( approx. $25,000 a month for 24/7 in-home care )

Additional expenses to improve her health

Mobility (walkers and things that she grows into as she strengthens)

In-home safety updates ( for example: emergency call button service and other house updates for her ability )

Publishing and completing the editing of her book

Help towards a private room in a care facility

If you would like to donate and directly sponsor a caregiver, directly purchase any items from Frances, or assist her in any way please contact us here. We can guide you and answer any questions you have.
