We’re reaching out with hopeful hearts as my son takes courageous steps toward healing at a treatment facility in Florida—treatment essential for him to rebuild his life.

As some of you know, he’s a brilliant academic, excelling in science, as well as an insightful and prolific writer and artist, but his life has been interrupted by mental illness, caused by both a medical condition and addiction. He received inpatient care at other hospitals without results. Thank God he’s making progress at this facility where he’s been since January 15, 2025.

We’re incredibly grateful for the care he currently receives with nationally recognized medical experts, but the financial burden is overwhelming, and insurance does not cover his treatment.

To stabilize his condition, the doctors say, will take two more months, which costs $35,400 per month for the hospital, doctors, and medication. Then, he’ll need four months of therapeutic rehabilitation to help him manage his condition and learn to live independently, at $26,000 per month. For the six months of treatment, then, we need to raise $174,800. Unfortunately, without your financial support his care will be stalled.
