Hi my name is Lucy and I’m fundraising for foxy. Foxy is a 2 year old dog that has had such a life and needs surgery on her toes.

foxy was a street dog in Mexico and I found her in a sad situation with 2 litters of pups, super malnourished, still nursing

and tic infested. I fostered her and her one daughter and brought them back to health and got them spayed and realized they were both amazing dogs.

I am keeping her daughter and found Foxy the best new home in Canada - Nanaimo.

A week before we were driving from Mexico to Canada Foxy fell 25’ and we thought she was dead. She miraculously survived and only had a broken leg.

The vet put it in a cast and said it needed to be looked at in 2 weeks.

Yesterday the vet in Canada said the only way to keep Foxys leg is with surgery which is $7000. The toes aren’t lining up. We could amputate it but because it’s the front leg it isn’t ideal.

Any help towards the surgery is greatly appreciated by the new family - Julia and Wayde who have fallen in love with Foxy and want to give Foxy the best life possible.

Foxy lives on some of the best hiking trails in Vancouver Island and would love to explore with her new brother Fred.
