A recent fall has yielded a significant leg fracture, and now, it appears that surgery is the only way for them to properly heal and walk again.

The timing couldn’t be worse. They are uninsured, between jobs, applying to trade schools, while trying to manage everyday bills.

This is the kind of person who never asks for help. They're kind, hard-working, and always try to do the right thing. But this time, they can’t do it alone.

Altogether, the cost of medical care is expected to total around $20,000. This includes:

1. The surgery and hospital fees

2. Follow-up physical therapy

3. Basic living costs while he’s off his feet recovering
