My oldest son went to the ER with difficult breathing. He has Congestive Heart Failure and by midnight he was diagnosed with pneumonia. The next day he was going into total Systemic Failure. At 5:30 pm a chopper was dispatched to fly him 70 miles away to Meijer Heart Center where he was placed on a ventilater and put into an induced coma. My daughter in law and grandson have been trying to get back and forth with us to see him and care for him. She has taken unpaid leave to keep up and is stretched to her limit. I am a disabled veteran and cannot do much for them. Fred, my son, has no insurance either. With gas money, food, lost time and occasional hotel costs we all are left wondering what to do. Fred has been this way for over 2 weeks and prognosis is weeks out before we can think of bringing him home. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
