Asalamualaikum, inshaAllah this message finds you safe and healthy. There is a family, close to myself, that has fallen on hard times, facing hunger and eviction. With everything going on, her financial situation has turned into nothing short of a crisis. With three small children to feed and shelter, it has become extremely hard for her to support her family. Work for the mother is minimal because of, not only the situation, but the lack of funds for reliable transportation, a sitter, and the Covid-19 stipulations, put on so many of the businesses. She currently does not have a vehicle, so being able to even make essential runs to anywhere needed for her or her children is near impossible. The savings and checking for her account to pay rent, has depleted and she currently does not have a way to pay for utilities, rent, food, or transportation. I have created this GoFundMe, considering how in need this family is right now. InshaAllah, during this Ramadan, we can help this family. One of the most important principles of Islam is that all things belong to Allah (swt). Therefore, our possessions are purified by setting aside a proportion for those in need. Every good deed and act of kindness or generosity that we complete has the ability to bring immeasurable rewards, both now and in the Hereafter.
