I’m Nicole and I am started a GoFundMe for my work best friend, Hervick. She is born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Florida for college to study abroad. She stayed in the US and moved to Seattle.

Typhoon Kalmaegi is destroying her hometown community. So many people are struggling there, houses getting destroyed, people starving, and people lost. Her childhood home is destroyed. She is the breadwinner for her family and always sends money from the US to the Philippines. They need it now more than ever.

I offered to ask my family for help and she cried because she never would have asked me to do this. She is the most kind, bubbly, and hardworking person I’ve worked with.
