Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Lorie and I am reaching out to you with a humble heart for your support for my sister, ERLINDA LAROCO BALLO, who was recently diagnosed with STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER. Three months after her cancer diagnosis, she got a spinal chord fracture from a vehicular accident that made her condition even worse. This has been an incredibly heartbreaking and challenging time for our family — but most especially for her and her son.

A few years ago, she endured the unimaginable loss of her husband. Since then, she has carried the weight of being a single mother with unwavering strength and grace. Now, she faces yet another devastating battle: fighting cancer, while continuing to be the loving and devoted mother her son needs.

The emotional and financial toll of a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. Between treatments, hospital visits, medications, and day-to-day expenses, the costs are quickly piling up.

My sister is already retired, and while her son and our family are doing everything we can, it has become very challenging to support her treatment.
