Please Help Erin and Hunter
Donation protected
Many of you who know about our cousin Erin’s sudden and serious health decline have asked what you can do or how you can help. We have set up this GoFundMe to raise money for her as she fights to get her life back.
For those of you who might not know, our beautiful cousin Erin Hepler has been hospitalized for almost a month after what was supposed to be a routine gallbladder surgery. Erin became very sick and was hospitalized in South Hill, VA. She continued to suffer partial paralysis and acute and severe nerve pain. After 2 weeks in South Hill, with no diagnosis, she was transferred to VCU Medical Center in Richmond. Her condition has continued to deteriorate but she is under close watch in the VCU Neuro ICU unit and her Mother Patty and 3yr old son, Hunter are now staying in Richmond to be close to her as she fights on.
We are sending this request as Erin, Patty and little Hunter will surely have a financial burden when she recovers. So far we don’t know when she will able to be transferred out of the Neuro ICU unit but she is getting round-the-clock care. Please share what you can say a prayer for her. All funds raised will go into a fund to help with Erin’s recovery and absence from working, with Patty and Erin being the account recipients. You may see the names of Tracy Palya Matteo, Nicole Palya Wood or Taralyn Robbins on messages but only because we have set this fundraiser in motion.
Thanks so much for reading and caring. We will bring her home, but with your help we can make that transition far less stressful.
