Please help Eric see his way through this

Hi, my name is Justin and my cousin Eric Sonora is in immediate need of help. He is only 42 years old and is a Type 1 Diabetic. He has had diabetes for 25 years, and it has taken a severe toll on his eyes. He's losing his eyesight and now has Diabetic Retinopathy and a detached retina. With help, his vision can be kept with surgery and monthly shots in his eyes. The doctors say that without these procedures, his eyesight will be completely gone within 3-6 months. He can't work as of now due to his vision. His Mom, who is only on social security, is trying to pay for these treatments herself and can't afford it. He has applied for Medicare but has been denied for unknown reasons. If you could donate a little to help my family, it would be much appreciated. We want him to see his kid grow up and not miss out on some of the most important things in life.
