Elliot has sustained a re-ruptured ACL along with cartilage damage. This is his third ACL injury, and we are fundraising to help cover the cost of private surgery, rather than facing a lengthy wait through the NHS.

On 25th March 2026, during our Bradford District Cup Semi-Final, Elliot suffered a re-ruptured ACL and cartilage damage following what was an innocent challenge. Subsequent scans and consultations with a specialist have confirmed that surgery is required, followed by an estimated 10–12 month rehabilitation period.

As a club, we have explored—and continue to explore—all possible avenues to support Elliot in receiving the treatment he needs. Discussions with his local GP regarding surgery through the NHS are ongoing; however, current waiting times could be several months.

This leaves Elliot and the club with two options: wait for NHS treatment, or attempt to raise £9,500, which is the approximate cost of private surgery.

Any donation, no matter the size, would be hugely appreciated by both Elliot and the club. Your support would help Elliot get not only his playing career back on track, but also his coaching career. Since sustaining this injury, Elliot has been unable to coach and has therefore also suffered a loss of earnings.

At just 21 years old, this is already Elliot’s third ACL injury. The club is fully committed to supporting him and would love to see him return to the pitch in good time.
