Please help Ellie the Corgi, Emily, and Remsen

A lot of people will maybe recognize Ellie the Corgi. Her mom and dad, Emily and Remsen, take her with them everywhere. And everywhere she goes, she makes friends.

Now though, Ellie is really sick. She’s been at a special veterinary hospital for over a week, most of it in their ICU. She’s had chest tubes placed, blood transfusions, CT scans, ultrasounds, bone marrow and lymph biopsies, spent many hours in a special oxygen pen, and had so many more tests. Her mom and dad are awaiting the results of her bone marrow biopsy, and we’re all hoping and waiting with them.

Now comes the plea. We’re friends of Rem and Em and Ellie, and we know how devastating this is for them emotionally and financially. There’s not much we can do other than offer a hug and a shoulder, but maybe we can ask all their friends if they wouldn’t mind chipping in a little. Maybe we can make a difference for them at a time where they’re seeing this medical bill climb to astronomical heights and still no answers.
