Please help Ellie get her wheelchair lift

Ellie is a sweet 7 year old girl who is navigating the world with Pitt Hopkins Syndrome.  I am hoping to fund raise for her family to be able to purchase a Bruno wheelchair porch lift to make her house accessible.  I have known the Tomljanovic family for years, they are like family to me and Ellie is an amazing soul.  Ellie has a smile that will light up a room and a giggle that is infectious.  As she is growing bigger each year and it is becoming increasingly difficult to transport her. Getting a wheelchair lift in the Tomljanovic's garage for Ellie would be a game changer for the family and all caregivers involved when trying to carry her in and out of the house. Thank you for any help you can provide in this next chapter for Ellie!  A bit about Pitt Hopkins Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS) is a rare, neuro-developmental disorder caused by a mutation of the TCF4 gene on the 18th chromosome. Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS) is exceptionally rare – with approximately 400+ cases recorded worldwide, and 4 in Canada.  Ellie suffers from significant developmental issues, severe cognitive delay, motor coordination and balance, sensory issues, self harm, severe gastrointestinal pain, is non-verbal and currently non-mobile. Other characteristics of PTHS include seizures and breathing issues which include hyperventilation and/or breath holding. Most kids with PTHS will never walk or gain language.  Ellie, like any other child, just wants to be safe and loved even if she may not be able to express it like other children.  I am hoping to raise this money for the lift and appreciate anyone who donates, but secondary I hope you have learned about this rare disorder and someday meet someone like Ellie who touches your heart too!
