Please Help Ella Beat Lyme Nephritis

I'm Daria, a dog trainer in Montreal, Canada (laikadogtraining.com). I'm fundraising to help cover my dog Ella's veterinary costs. Ella is a 6-year old Husky-German Shepherd mix, who is not only my best friend and adventure buddy, she is also my working partner. Ella has been indispensable in training 100s of other dogs.

On Nov 17th 2022, Ella was diagnosed with Lyme Nephritis, a rare type of infection in dogs exposed to Lyme. This infection causes the dog's immune system to destroy the kidneys. Ella was on a tick preventative. Since her diagnosis, Ella has been on a treatment plan to address the infection, immune response and kidney failure (12 medications/supplements and special diet). She still wants to run and play outside, so I am hopeful that the intervention didn't come too late. Her veterinary costs have so far exceeded $4500. She will need to continue medications and testing for several months to come. This funding will help pay for additional blood/urine tests and medications.
