Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read our dear friends' story. The Quinatoas are a young family doing their best to stay strong through an incredibly difficult season. Recently, complications from a serious concussion that happened on July 5th, 2025, have turned their lives upside down. What they hoped would be a straightforward recovery has instead become a long, painful, and unpredictable journey—one that has brought mounting medical bills, ongoing treatments, and financial strain they never expected. The monthly medical bills are up to 2,500 dollars.

This has been especially heartbreaking because Elissa has two young, active children who, although being very patient and understanding, have had to adjust quite drastically to a new life at home to accommodate their mother's brain injury. Elissa is an avid athlete who has always lived an active, healthy lifestyle, and would be frequently seen running or cycling in her hometown. Elissa is a passionate teacher who pours her heart into her students, sharing her love of the Spanish language. Being unable to fully return to her normal family life, the classroom or the activities she loves has taken both an emotional and financial toll on their family.
Despite working hard and doing everything he can, the medical costs and loss of income have grown beyond what Elissa's husband can manage alone. We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support—whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping the Quinatoa family in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of help brings this special family one step closer to stability and gives them the chance to focus on what matters most: healing, caring for their family, and rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and encouragement. It means more than words can express.
