I'm *so grateful for your donations, gifts and emotional support these last several months! Life in the cabin on the mountain has been wonderful, but tougher in many ways than I imagined or planned for. I'm thrifty and live simply, but still can't make ends meet. My only income at the moment is a modest Social Security payment each month.

I've set a goal of $1750 today to carry me for a couple months and cover upcoming one-time and yearly expenses.

My monthly shortfall after rent and other bills varies exceeds $500, and I no longer have a reserve for unexpected emergencies or expenses. I've been able to bridge that gap so far, *only with your kind help.
