Please help Ed Sheeran... the cat!

Hi my name is Brogan, I am raising money to help my cousin Bec's beautiful, friendly and super cuddley 2 year old cat, Ed (Sheeran), who was unfortunately hit by a car in Selby, North Yorkshire on Monday (19th May). He is currently at the vets with the below injuries:

- fractured jaw - which requires wiring.

- He is going need a feeding tube fitted for at least 6 weeks

- bruising to the brain

- brachial plexus avulsion, which is causing paralysis to his front right leg which may require amputation because it has caused horners syndrome (where the nerve roots supplying the front limbs are torn from the spinal cord)

- Damage to his eye which may also need to be removed.

- neurological trauma.

The amazing vets are confident he will recover but we need your help!

He is insured but with all the tests and monitoring and potential surgeries he may need the insurance is not going to cover all the vet fees.

Bec has a very unwell husband and 2 beautiful daughters and simply will not be able to afford the additional fees for Ed's continued stay at the vets and follow up care.

I am trying to raise around £3000 or as close to, because this is the predicted amount that would be needed to cover Ed's fees after the insurance stops paying.

I know times are hard for everyone but even if you can donate a small amount towards these fees it would be greatly appreciated by myself and my whole family.

I will post updates about Ed's care as we know.
