Please help ease the burden of Lilly’s fantastic family!

Hi my name is Taffie and I’m starting this fund raiser to help ease the financial burden of Lilly’s wonderful parents so that they can be with Lilly while she heals. On Tuesday evening after playing with our dogs and going to Arctic Circle to get ice cream. Lilly and my daughter, Sara, decided to go for a horse ride. While riding here in Hooper, the neighbors horses started acting up and the horse Sara was riding threw Sara on to the rode and took off running, which caused the horse Lilly was riding to take off as well. Lilly hung on as long as she could, ultimately landing on her head in the middle of the intersection, causing severe head trauma. Lilly suffered a basilar skull fracture that goes through her left middle ear and up into her frontal lobe. She had some bleeding in her brain, a serious concussion, severe dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Lilly’s horrific head pain has been difficult to control. She also suffered a broken cheek, has a contused lung, bruised hands, and some bladder and intestinal bruising. It’s going to take upwards of 6 months for Lilly to recover. She has already been in the hospital for a week and will spend 2-3 weeks in rehab. I know Cami would never ask for help but as a mother and as someone who can only imagine what she is going through, with permission, I am asking that we pull together as a community to ease the financial burden of this lovely family, so that they can concentrate on Lilly! I also want to thank the amazing neighbors who assisted our daughters when Cami and I was unable to. We appreciate you all so much!
