PLEASE HELP SUFFERING 3 YEAR OLD “CHAI”

PLEASE HELP DYING CAT.

I can show all necessary proof of my name, address, etc. This is my daughters cat and one my oldest daughters has already rescued four other kittens that had cost her so much. Again, all proof can be shown if anyone is able to help.

Chai has severe bladder obstruction, his bladder is the size of a snow globe with crystals & stones blocking and floating in his urinary tract. He has been vomiting, small amounts of diarrhea, not eating, lethargic, hiding, weak and crying sporadically. He needs 36 hour hospitalization at minimum because he cannot be sent home without a catheter and he can become immediately obstructed again if not receiving proper treatment. He is at the point where his organs are going to shut down as he has been this way for 2 days and was said to need immediate medical attention. I cannot afford his treatment and would hate to put him down over this. He is not suffering as much now as he is on pain medication and being examined otherwise his condition is very life-threatening and time-sensitive. He is currently at access specialty animal hospital in Woodland Hills.

Please help me save this big sized little boy. He is so loved but this treatment is not affordable for me due to circumstances that are unrelated. Any amount helps and can be contributed directly to the vet bill with proof. He is so loved and does not deserve to be put down from our inability to pay. It breaks my heart in pieces for my youngest 9 year old daughter who does not want him to go with “Chloe” which is a cat we owned who passed 3 years ago. They were two buddies and we want to help him.

I am a single mother and cannot afford this by myself. I know there is care credit but my credit is not good to apply and monthly payments are more than my budget can afford. I was declined and showed proof on Facebook.

He will die if we can’t help him but I don’t want him to suffer. I can afford to euthanize him but that feels like betrayal and my heart is conflicted and broken.

He needs to be unblocked immediately as his bladder is heavily enlarged and they did mention that he can have further electrolyte complications, etc. The problem is this came at a time where I cannot afford more monthly payments or to lend money from others. Few people understand the love for animals and their worth. It’s just not something I can do without support from others right now.

I authorized the amount and they reduced the bill to help with some costs now but it is still unaffordable.

I received a 2nd estimate. They did say if he needed anything else, they would inform me first, also they asked about CPR which if needed, would also increase to $200- 600 dollars but I approved it as I’m hoping the community would help save my poor big “little” boy. ❤️

I am just sharing the original estimate but please note that they reduced it to the 2nd estimate posted to $2,850, except they said further treatments may be needed so just in case.
