My name is Kim Greenwood, I am the sister of Dwayne Howard. Around 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Dwayne's house caught on fire. It appears that the fire started from a pan that was accidentally left on the burner. Luckily Dwayne was alerted by fire alarms in the house.

Dwayne tried his best to extinguish the fire, but was unsuccessful. Fortunately neighbors seen the commotion and also tried to extinguish the fire; as well as rendering aid to Dwayne.

Dwayne was transported to UF Shands Burn Unit by rescue for medical treatment. He is currently intubated and has almost 3rd degree burns on the upper torso of his body, arms, hands and face. He will face an abundance of medical bills, as well as losing his home and all of his belongs. He will have a long road of recovery, physically & mentally.
