Please Help Doaa & Mahmoud rebuild their life in Gaza.

My name is Roy and I am trying to help a friend of mine in Gaza, and his young family to survive. They have lost everything and I am setting up this GFM fundraiser to raise money for them to pay for a roof over their heads, buy food for their baby and stay alive as temperatures drop across the region. I will be collecting the funds and transferring them directly to Doaa and Mahmoud direct to their bank in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

In the heart of Gaza, a young couple's dream of building their family was shattered by relentless bombing campaigns. Duaa, a 27-year-old language teacher, and her husband Mahmoud had spent countless hours creating their perfect home, carefully choosing every piece of furniture and decoration. Just two months after their wedding, with Duaa two months pregnant, they lost everything - their home, their possessions, and their sense of security.

Throughout this crisis, Duaa has shown remarkable resilience in the face of unimaginable challenges. While pregnant, she endured severe malnutrition and was forced to relocate four times, living in squalid conditions with insects and rodents. She gave birth to baby Adam in dire circumstances, without proper medical care or sanitation, both mother and child miraculously surviving. Now, they struggle daily to secure basic necessities like clean drinking water, baby formula, and diapers, all of which have become prohibitively expensive in their current situation.

Today, Duaa and Mahmoud's greatest wish is to provide their son Adam with the childhood he deserves - one free from war, where he can grow up healthy and safe. Their immediate needs are urgent and basic: access to clean water, nutritious food, and essential supplies for their baby. Your support will help this young family rebuild their lives and give baby Adam a chance at the future his parents dreamed of providing him.
