Greetings, friends! Our veterinarian, Dr. Carrie was in a horseback riding incident on August 17, 2025. The incident resulted in a bruised heart, lacerated spleen, and six broken ribs (some in multiple places). She was airlifted to Green Bay for an ICU stay and is now at home healing.

Many of you who know her would know how big Dr. Carrie’s heart is and how much she cares for her patients. She’s our only veterinarian within a 30 mile radius, so we depend on her greatly in our rural area. She’s the BEST cat veterinarian and we love her so! We don’t know what we would do without her kindness and compassion for the local critters.

We have started this gofundme in order to raise money for her medical bills and would appreciate any support you can provide through this platform.
