Hello, my name is Dana and I am creating this GoFundMe for my very best friend Doreen.

Doreen was diagnosed with a fatal disease , DRPLA that has caused the passing of her mother, her brother, her nephew and multiple other family members.

Doreen was let go from her job right after her diagnosis.

Since then she has signed up for disability and has had hurdle after hurdle to get this accomplished. being denied, etc..

She does not qualify for unemployment any longer.

She is suffering.

This is a human being that is living without her very basic needs being met.

Doreen is months behind on her house payment.

Her electricity will be shut off soon.

Her and her dog gypsy are sharing cans of soup to survive.

Can you imagine being diagnosed with something that is eventually going to kill you all the while not being able to have a solid meal to eat or gas to even heat your home.
