I cannot thank you all enough for the generous support you have given me! Brain tumours and brain surgery aren’t things that I thought would be on my life’s bingo card. However, thanks to you, I’m pressing through to the other side. Being able to focus on recovery without having to be constantly worried about financial problems is an amazing blessing and gift. You have invested in my life, and I’m making sure that your investment was worth it. Knowing there are so many caring people out there has been a light for me in these dark times. So with all my heart I thank you all, and pray that all your generosity is exponentially returned to you. You forever have my appreciation and gratitude.

Hi......I am a family friend of the Rush's, Tom and Yvonne.....knowing Dono's father Tom for over 50 years. As some of you know, Dono recently had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a tumour from the right frontal lobe of his brain. This was definitely life threatening, but he miraculously has come through it in very good shape, and we are hopeful he will have a long, healthy life after recovery.......But that will take time. He will be unable to work for months, and may need ongoing care well into the future, so I am reaching out on behalf of his loving friends and family to try raise some funds to help Dono with the bills that do not stop coming, even though he will not be able to earn a living again for some time yet. Any amount you can find in your heart to give will help and allow Dono to focus on getting well, and not worry about finances.
