Please help donate to Serena's Pyometra Surgery tomorrow!!

Hi, my name is Melissa and I'm doing this fundraiser because my Serena, my dog, is suffering from Pyometra. A serious and fatal bacterial infection of the uterus. I took her to the vet today, 08/05/25, for a health check up as she was presenting very worrying symptoms, they stated that it could be pyometra and wanted me to take her to the vet hospital for a ultrasound scan to say for sure if she has it or not.

We went to the vet hospital in Morpeth as our appointment was 15:15pm. She had her scan and they told me that she unfortunately does have Pyometra and that it's quite large and that she needs immediate surgery. Tomorrow is the earliest. 09/05/24. At 8:40pm.

The issue is that I dont have those funds, I only had £300 today and £161.50 was spent on the ultrasound scan and with £31.00 taxi there and £38.00 back. I am now down to £15.00. As I am in Newcastle and the vet hospital is in Morpeth.

Please, if you know me, you know how much I love my baby, how much I love this dog. She is the best thing to have ever happened to me, she's saved me from depression and being at my lowest for all the years that she has been with me and I've had her since she was a pup. I can't bare to lose her and desperately need this help. I am usually very prideful and don't have the courage to do something like this, to ask for help but i'm setting my pride away. I love her too much and want her to live a long and healthy life.

Just to get to know, her name is Serena, she is a Giant Schnauzer. She is a female and 6 years old. She has never had any health problem till this. She is the most gentle and sweet darling you will ever know, despite being large and intimidating. She is such a sweetheart and i couldn't thank God enough for giving me my best friend in the form of all fours.

I ask, please, if you can donate so that she can have this surgery tomorrow.

I received a call just before advising that they can take a payment of £1000 at the very least, so even if this makes it up to there. Im truly desperate and want my baby to live, please help me. I can't lose her.

This is her ultrasound scan, that black circle in the middle is her uterus filled with pus. It is very large and i will show you what a healthy womb is meant to look like and how severe her pyometra is.
