Please help donate to save Juniper!

Hey all. For those that don't know, I am the lucky boyfriend to a fantastic dog mom, Elimah Gerken, who is a responsible and sweet mother to two dogs, Björn and Juniper. Unfortunately, just recently, Juniper managed to grab, chew up, and ingest a large bottle of Ibuprofen tucked away on the kitchen counter. Ibu is highly toxic to dogs, especially for young 1.5 yr old’s like June. She has now been hospitalized for a couple of days, receiving numerous medications, essential IV fluids, and repeat lab work while monitored around the clock. Her kidney biomarkers show signs of acute kidney injury, and she is at severe risk of kidney failure. Sadly, the vet told us today that Juniper may likely only have 6 mos to 2 yrs to live and that the chances of living the healthiest and longest life possible are significantly increased with further hospitalization. Unfortunately, this financial bearing could not come at a worse time for Elimah. She just had to replace the roof on her home and has been experiencing many unexpected costs associated with unexpected home repairs.

Juniper's bills already exceed 7,000 dollars, and Elimah is expecting to spend several thousands of more dollars over the next several weeks to give sweet June the best chance at survival. From family and friends to the cancer patients that Elimah cares for while at work, to her dogs, to whom she provides a wonderful life, she is hands down the most caring and supportive person I know. Now, I am graciously asking you to help support Elimah with her substantial and costly vet bills. *Any* amount is extremely helpful and will go towards Juniper's future care to help keep her alive and healthy.
