Please Help Donate to Rachel Graham's Cancer Treatment Fund

My name is Tim Gonzalez. I'm starting this Go Fund Me for my sister Rachel Graham, who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. This came as a surprise to our family a couple of weeks ago and we're still trying to find our footing. We know Rachel is a fighter. During Covid she was one of many that were hospitalized and confined to a breathing machine. We had faith that she would pull through, and weeks later she did. My sister has family and friends who love and support her through this.

Rachel and her husband Evan both work in public schools in the Houston area. Their entire lives have revolved around enriching children's lives. As we know public schools have recently seen many budget cuts which in turn mean salary cuts. We also know health insurance won't cover the majority of their upcoming expenses. My hope with this Go Fund Me is that through the kindness of strangers and those that love her - it will help alleviate the financial burden that we know is coming.

The pre and post surgery expenses will seem insurmountable but I know we can raise enough to alleviate some of the worry. The cost for Stage 2 breast cancer surgery varies significantly, but it's reasonable to expect a range of $61,621 to $97,066 in the first 6-12 months after diagnosis. This includes various treatment options like lumpectomy, mastectomy, and radiation therapy. I know we can make our goal. Please keep my sister in your thoughts and send her a line for those that know her. She's going to need all the love and support in this trying time.

Rachel's surgery is scheduled for June 19th.
