Please help donate to help Austin's recovery
Donation protected
Our friend Austin was involved in an isolated shooting outside of Plaza Academy, a school he has worked for the past three years. This tragic event has left excruciating pain and long hours of recovery ahead. Austin remains in good spirits, however, due to these unforeseen circumstances, Austin and his wife will be applying any donation to both medical bills and recovery.
Plaza Academy is an alternative school for Kansas City youth where its mission is to help non-traditional learners gain the skills and confidence to graduate high school and become successful young adults. Austin has worked at the school for the past 3 years. He is a valued employee and a great teacher to his students. In addition to his incredible career as a teacher, Austin has also mentored and counseled the Plaza Academy student body.
Austin is often described as the voice of reason, the cool and collected funny friend, a creative artist, the best teacher, and an even better husband. Anyone who knows Austin understands the massive impact he has had on his friends, family, and the Plaza community.
Please keep Austin and his family in your thoughts and any donation is greatly appreciated!
