Please Help Donate to Aid Rich and Chris's Family

Donation protected
Rich and Chris have been close friends and our family for a long time. Both of them are Godparents to my daughter. They are wonderful, down to earth people with two children that need our help.
Everyone... these are people just like us who have had every bad break, we NEED your help. Greatly appreciated and thanks to all!

Rich and Chris have been through so much in the past few years. They have a rough go of it, and it has been taking a large toll on their children. They are wonderful partners for each other and will be married for 27 years in October. They are amazing parents to their son and daughter.

Chris has been battling MS (Multiple Sclerosis) since 2010. In 2021 Chris was Diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney cancer and had 3/4 quarters of her kidney removed in March of 2022. One of these is too much for one person, let alone both. Getting ready to return to work in June,
she was diagnosed with Covid and spent a week intubated in the ICU, at Albany Med. This further delayed her return to work until September. Chris was unpaid for some of that time, but to keep the family covered by medical insurance, there were times she had to pay the employer portion of bill. In May of this year Chris was again hospitalized for an MS episode that caused temporary full blindness in both eyes. Thankfully after a week in the hospital her vision began to return and at this point it is back in the
right eye and the left is still coming back fully. This has caused Rich & Chris to incur a tremendous amount of medical debt, loans they had to take out, and bills falling past due. Life necessitated that they move to a one floor home, as the MS is at a point where Chris can no longer climb stairs. Those mobility challenges and the illness over the last few years has caused Chris to miss many events for her children and be less present than she hopes to be in the future as her daughter Fiona is now entering High
School and her son Jack is a Junior in University.

Rich has been the rock during this time keeping the family together, being the best husband and caregiver, getting Chris to all her treatments, driving her to all her doctors' appointments and now back and forth to work. He keeps his taxi service open to get Fiona all the places she needs to be and attend all her events. Attending things for
Jack and driving him back and forth to bring him home to visit, all while running his business, For Your Canvenience.

Some of the things I am hoping this fund can help them with is Medical Debt, paying down some of the debt when they had to max out their cards, paying down loans taken just to get by just to get by.
She also would benefit tobe able to put her scooter on the on the back of her car (think Bike rack for a scooter) so that she can have more independence to load her scooter on an off by herself on days she needs to use it.
Any amount of giving will help them, and the more we can raise, the more we can help to alleviate stress for the whole family.

$15,000 will not cover everything but reaching this goal can help with some of the more urgent and immediate needs.

Please re-post and share as much as you can, encourage others to share, so that collectively we can help this fantastic family.
