Hi everyone, early Tuesday my best friend and #1 pup Dixie was struck by a car and shattered both hips and possibly paralyzed her from her waist down. She is currently being treated at The University of Auburn's veterinary school. The veterinary team is coming up with a surgical solution at the moment to try to save her back legs. Auburn has quoted me roughly around $11,000 after all it's said and done. While most of her procedures have so far been funded I fear the well will eventually run dry. I typically would never ask for money for anything but this is my baby and she deserves a second chance and if I can provide that for her that's what I am going to do at all cost.
