Please help disabled teacher and father of four

Up until December 6, 2017, our beloved Robert was a relatively healthy, 37 year old, father of 4. He was a special education teacher at Lundy Elementary School and a graduate student at the University Texas at El Paso.
As many of you already know, December 06 was the day that everything changed.
-Robert was rushed to the hospital, that evening, due to a sudden inability to move his right side coupled with slurred speech. Later that night, he suffered a major stroke that would leave him hospitalized for months and permanently disabled.
It has been a long road ever since. Robert temporally lived at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and eventually worked up his way to outpatient therapy. He currently undergoes speech & physical therapy 3 times per week and sees several medical specialists a few times per month.
Robert can no longer work but does not qualify for disability benefits, leaving his wife Alis, a first grade teacher, to be the sole provider for her family of 5. In addition to providing for the family's basic needs, Alis is also swamped with medical bills from Robert's hospitalization and on going treatment.
While Robert does have health insurance through Alis' employer, it only covers a percentage of Robert's routine medical treatment and some medical claims have even been denied.
After about a year and a half of slow but steady progress, Robert has decided to undergo a medical procedure to help him in his recovery & rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the procedure is very costly and not covered by his health insurance and Alis and Robert will have to travel to Boca Raton, Florida on April 18, creating additional travel and lodging expenses.
My family and I are asking for your assistance in helping to cover some of these medical and travel costs. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. -Thank you so much for your continued prayers and generousity. May God bless you all.

plus travel expenses.
