UPDATE: Dillon came home from the hospital on Friday and is now under the 24hr care of Nurses Mom and Dad!!! He will have a follow-up appointment on Monday to check all the wounds, see how they are healing and make sure he is free on any infections. Dillon is so incredibly grateful for all the birthday love and well wishes! He can not thank each of you enough for the generous donations and heartfelt messages. Thank you all!!!

Hi, My name is Lyndsey Stafford and I am Dillon’s Aunt. Dillon was in a tragic, life-altering firework accident on the evening of April 6th. He has already had 2 surgeries on both hands and specifically on the right hand, where they had to amputate below the 1st knuckle on each of his fingers and his thumb. Dillon will need multiple surgeries to repair his right hand, along with occupational therapy to regain strength. Dillon will also need tutoring as he can not go to school. The magnitude of the situation is unfolding daily. Dillon, along with his parents, are learning new things that they will need to focus on each day, and as these needs unfold, your support will go directly to helping him progress and heal.
