Our dear friend and coworker Diego Barragan, his wife, and young children need your help!

 

Diego’s Story:

 

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Diego was found unconscious and was immediately rushed to the emergency room. A scan of his brain revealed a cavernous malformation that caused a hemorrhagic stroke that would require five-hour long brain surgery to remove the mass.

 

The next day, Diego went into surgery to remove the mass, and he is currently recovering in the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, Diego will need extensive post-care rehabilitation to re-learn the basics such as how to walk, talk, and eat again.

 

To make matters worse, the family lost their medical coverage earlier this year, making the medical bills insurmountable.

 

Devastation doesn’t even begin to describe the avalanche of emotions that engulfed the Barragan family. Diego and his wife Paulina have three young children, and as you can imagine, this has been a challenging and trying time for the family.
