Help Desi and Her Family Rebuild After the Eaton Fire

Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m reaching out to share the story of my first cousin, Desi—someone who has always been more like a sister to me. Desi is an elementary school teacher with an incredible heart. She’s dedicated her life to nurturing and inspiring others, always bringing light and kindness to those around her.

On the evening of January 7th, the unthinkable happened. Desi, her husband, their sweet 3-year-old son, and their beloved puppy, Skipper, lost everything in the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire. Their home, their belongings, and the place where they built cherished memories were all taken in an instant.

This tragedy comes after years of unimaginable heartbreak. During her pregnancy with my nephew, Desi endured the loss of her father. This was followed by 2 miscarriages. Now, as she carries her rainbow baby, she faces the daunting task of piecing their life back together from scratch.

Despite everything, Desi has remained a beacon of hope and compassion to so many. Now, she and her family need our help to find stability and healing.
