Northeastshooters is fundraising to help with medical expenses for our friends Deena and Len.

We thought that she beat cancer some 20 years ago, but apparently, some cells escaped and suddenly metastasized in her liver this year. I am very sorry to report that she was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer in January and chemo has failed, so she was put into hospice in a Boston hospital a few days ago. Her oncologist told us that she probably has weeks to a few months left.

They are hoping for a bed to be available at a hospice in the Nashua area so that she’ll be closer to home, but if not, she’ll be staying in Boston.
