Please help Declan's fight for life!

Hi, I'm Declan's Grandfather. Please, help us fund 11-month-old Declan's fight for life. On Dec 30th Declan came down with the Rhinovirus which then lead to severe life-threatening complications. Declan had a slight runny nose for 24 hours and began napping more frequently during the day so he was taken to the doctor's office where he was diagnosed as dehydrated. From there he was rushed to a local hospital where Declan, shortly after arrival, went into cardiac arrest and left us for twenty minutes. Only because of the determination and dedication of the staff did they bring him back to us. From there Declan was flown to a local larger hospital where the dedicated doctors and staff worked on Declan for ten hours doing everything they could to keep Declan with us.

It was then determined that Declan had to go to the Children's Hospital of Philidelphia (CHOP) PA. Declan was deemed very sick, but because of the weather, could not fly, and we were told: "it would be a miracle for Declan to survive the drive to CHOP". After over a hundred Our Fathers and Hail Marys, Thank God, we made it. The teams of Doctors began immediately to save and stabilize Declan.

It's been just over a week now with Declan still in critical condition and on life support with many ups and downs. We listen intensely to the doctors for every gold nugget and latch on to them in the hope of a good outcome.

Declan's Dad had to rush from Arizona to New Jersey last week. He began running his own company last year in Arizona and is now not able to work and earn an income while he is at Declan's side. As we all know the bills just keep coming. So far Declan has been in the emergency room or ICU for nine days. We have no idea what is and is not covered. We've been told this will be a very long endeavor so we have no idea how long it will be until Declan is out of the woods.

We don't know what has happened to Declan and we don't know if there will be short or long-term complications that will follow. We also have no idea what, if any, follow-ups will be required afterward. Anything anyone can contribute would be greatly appreciated and only used for this situation.
