DEBBIE the pug is poorly. She was rushed to the vets last night 16th sept and it was not good news. She couldn’t breathe. Some pugs suffer from BOAS mildly but sadly Debbie is in urgent need of surgery now. Debbie had a bad start to her life and was re-homed In 2017 By my son . Kristian had her checked over and took out insurance and has given her the best of everything He was not aware of any previous history of this. When he homed her she had 11 bad teeth removed which is not covered by insurance anyway. Today the local vets were arranging to send her to.a Specialist clinic in Redhill for surgery for BOAS when Kristian was shocked to hear that his insurance did not cover the treatment. Apparently the previous owners history showed up and BOAS was diagnosed in early 2016 but never operated on. Now Debbie is almost 7 it’s become a life threatening problem. The cost can be between £2500 - £3500 so we are hoping that we can try to meet a target of,or near to. £2500 you may know little Debs. You may not but if you can help in anyway Kristian and his family would be forever grateful. Without the operation she can’t survive. Many many thanks.
