It breaks my heart, but it is out of pure desperation that I write the following message.
A truly incredible woman is on the verge of losing her home.
My mother, Debbie White, has dedicated her life to the service of others. She worked for 37 years as an intensive care and critical care nurse, volunteered for organizations like Campfire Boys & Girls, Habitat for Humanity, and Boy Scouts of America, and works with her church to help feed the homeless on weekends.
Sadly, her mental and physical health have deteriorated precipitously over the past few months. She can no longer work and her medical expenses have completely drained her savings.
We have submitted her application for long-term disability, however, there is a 6 month waiting period before she will receive a payment.
Without a way to pay her monthly bills, most importantly her mortgage, she will lose her home and be left with nothing.
It is for these reasons that I started this GoFundMe. Absolutely every cent counts and is appreciated more than I can explain.
